In this series Halford uses different visual entanglements to abstractly explore the mental and physical obstacles we can both envelop ourselves in and protrude on the world and its wildlife. Mandy Halford’s work can also be looked at as autobiographic as she examines different topics and how they reflect on herself and uncover her subconscious. Halford works from both live models and photographs.
          
Mandy Halford's works range from sculpture and painting to illustration. Visually Halford is interested in forms expanding and intertwining creating both soft organic shapes and harsh intricate ones. Halford’s passion for the creative process only continues to grow as does her repertoire of artwork.
