Visual Arts Gallery: Friday, 3 May 2013
Sandra Marchewa
Opening May 3, 2013, 6:00 - 8:00 PM
Exhibition closes June 7.
When Sandra Marchewa takes up her paints, she must be using both sides of her brain.
How else can she take her whimsical thought and paint it with a really somber edge? She is an artist with a curiously-serious multi-layered vision of the world in which we live. Her visual commentary speaks to and plays with our multi-layered world where arms may hold guns or a garden full of flowers. One hopes that her luminosity wins in our troubling world.
