KATY STONE: POETIC CONSTRUCTIONS
Please join us as we open a solo exhibition for nationally recognized artist Katy Stone. "Poetic Constructions" features a group of Stone's sculptural pieces - layers of crafted acrylic on mylar elements, interwoven and assembled into glittery, flowing works whose features include separation pins, allowing movement and multi-shadows. These are works that virtually cascade down or across a wall in elegant and mysterious patterns often giving viewers an unexpected but peaceful and serene experience.
The exhibition opens with a Reception Friday, January 18, from 6 to 8 p.m., and will continue through March 8.
Please note that the Mary Joan Waid exhibition will be shown concurrently and has been extended through January 26.
Regular hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10-6, and by appointment. Friday evening, January 18, will be a Euclid/McPherson Gallery Walk. We hope to see you then!
