Foundry Art Centre: Friday, 28 April 2017

Enjoy food and drinks while chatting with exhibiting artists at the opening reception on Friday, April 28, 6 - 8 pm.
These three exhibitions will close Friday, June 9, 2017.
Gallery talk by Executive Director Melissa Whitwam at 5:30pm before the reception begins.

Numbers play in an important role in our lives through quantity, rank, priority, and more; the role which numbers play in art is what the latest Foundry Art Centre exhibition will explore. The Nth Degree will portray the influence of numbers and mathematics within art in Gallery I & II.
James Chase has juried a collection of artwork submitted from artists across the nation and continent.

A special invitational exhibition will take place in Gallery III featuring artwork from regional and national artists who support the mission of the Foundry Art Centre. Friends of the Foundry is a collection of all-media artwork priced at $300 each.

The Emerging Artist Series will feature Heather Macali in the Ameristar Gallery. Macali’s jacquard double weave tapestries use dynamic patterns and colors to convey the artist’s memories of an imaginative, altruistic childhood. Transformed will open in the Ameristar Gallery alongside The Nth Degree and Friends of the Foundry.

Hours are Tuesday-Thursday from 10 am-8 pm, Friday and Saturday from 10 am-5 pm, and Sunday from 12-4 pm.
