LAUREL PANELLA: IN SUSPENSION
Opening Reception: Friday March 17th from 6 pm to 9 pm
Exhibition Run: 3.17.17 to 4.19.17
The solo exhibition "IN SUPSPENSION is an exploration of volition and surrender. Occasionally growth involves the process of surrender - the uncomfortable, vulnerable state of giving your 'soul, essence, or intellectual Zeitgeist' over to another power, another philosophy, a teacher, a political agenda etc., in order to evolve to a new more illuminated place. I am curious to see what this surrendering, this choice to put one’s volition on hold, might physically look like, if one had to guess or imagine," states Laurel Panella.
