Please join us Friday March 18th from 6 to 8pm at The Cecille R. Hunt Gallery for the opening of In-Stalled

With a long tradition of artists having actual working experiences in art museums, often as e.g. Jackson Pollock, Robert Ryman, Dan Flavin, and more recently Fred Wilson, this exhibition showcases works by artists who spend the majority of their time caring for famous works of arts by world renown artists, while simultaneously developing their own art practice. Curated by Amber Slater-Raymond, the exhibition will be a blend of sculpture, painting, illustration and installation by artists who are professional Museum Preparators at the major cultural institutions in St. Louis. Artists include Shane Simmons (Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts),  Christopher Moreland (SLAM); Ronald Weaver (Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum), Timothy Skornia (SLAM), Amelia Jones (SLAM), and Tom Sleet (Missouri Historical Society Museum),
