APRON STRINGS: TIES TO THE PAST AND SUM OF MANY PARTS: QUILTMAKERS IN CONTEMPORARY AMERICA CLOSING RECEPTION AT THE FOUNDRY ART CENTRE

The Foundry Art Centre announces the closing reception for Apron Strings: Ties to the Past, an exhibition which reviews the apron’s role as an emotionally charged vehicle for expression with a rich and varied craft history that is still viable today, and The Sum of Many Parts: Quiltmakers in Contemporary America, a selection of quintessential American quilts. The closing reception will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. The event offers food, drink and artful conversation. Free and open to the public.

The Foundry Art Centre invites the public to attend a closing reception and meet and greet for Emerging Artist Series artist Nicholas Kriefall and his exhibition Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. The series presents artists fresh on the art scene in an effort to introduce their style to the local art community. The reception will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Free and open to the public.
