Please join us for the artists' opening reception of "All Formalities Aside: The Curious Encounter of Kit Keith and Gary Passanise" on Friday June 26th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

       

"An object makes infinity private," Joseph Brodsky noted.  After contemplating the art objects of Gary Passanise and Kit Keith that statement might be expanded upon: "An object, like a close friendship, makes infinity private."  Quiet undertones mark time in their work (as in their friendship) even as their creative voices distinguish themselves.  This exhibition explores the role of creativity in friendship - and also its inverse - the role of friendship in creativity.
