Northside Art Association Member Exhibit to Open at Framations June 12

Framations Art Gallery is pleased to present an exhibit of work by members of Northside Art Association.  Northside Art Association (NAA) began in 1955 with a small group of artists who gathered at a local library to discuss their art.  Within a few years, the group had grown and they began holding open air art shows and an annual group exhibition.  It did not take long for the membership numbers to grow and for the group to become a non-profit organization. With monthly meetings with demonstrating artists and monthly painting competitions, the group holds membership meetings at the Prairie Commons Library and displays throughout the year at the Florissant Civic Centre.  In recent years, the group has expanded its offerings to add a monthly paint-in, a spring and fall workshop, and a web site. 

This NAA Member Exhibition will be on display beginning with an Opening Reception on Friday, June 12 from 6-8 pm. The exhibit will continue through July 16. During the full length of the exhibit, the public will be able to vote for People's Choice. The winner of People's Choice will be on display for an additional 5 weeks after the close of this exhibit.
