Gail Cassilly, local sculptor and
co-founder of the City Museum, will exhibit in the Bonsack Gallery from April 4
through May 7, 2014. Cassilly has been a studio and exhibiting artist for more
than 35 years, working in a wide range of materials and themes. All are invited
to an opening reception from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, Friday, April 4.
Of her work, Cassilly says, “My figurative sculptural forms evolve out
of a search for a unique ‘emotional rightness.’ This is unveiled through a
dialogue of choices involving material, shape, gesture, theme and color.”
Regular gallery hours are 8 am to 5 pm,
