July heat got you in a sweat? Chill at Third Degree. Watch artists turn fiery glass into glorious art. Live at Third Degree: Opera! At 6:45 p.m. Union Avenue Opera gives a sneak peek preview performance of Puccini’s Turandot.
Third Degree East Gallery opens with Form & Function: Addison Hanna and Willie Haynes. Concurrent exhibit is Riffing on Dance, multi-media photographs and sculptures of dancers by David Lancaster. Exhibits on view through August 16. Work with our instructors for a hands-on glass adventure ($20 - $30).
Then Maple Jam heats up the night with a mix of upbeat cover and original tunes at 8 p.m. Fire spinning in the courtyard. How about Summer Lite dining Third Degree style? My Chef Heidi serves up tapas-style small plates for in gallery or al fresco dining ($2 - $8). Third Fridays are free and family-friendly. Cash bar.
