Oui, oui, this Friday it's time for the 6th annual Let Them Eat Art, a self-guided tour of enchantment and excitement through Historic Dowtown Maplewood's shops and restaurants.
You will find Maplewood abuzz with:
* Live music from the Zydeco Crawdaddys, Power Play Band, Panacea, harpist Terri Langerak, Folk School Students and more
* Hoop dance performances by the St. Louis Hoop Club
* Art exhibits and live art demonstrations (including UpCycled at S. Carmody Photography, 2707 Sutton)
* Public art unveiling with Firecracker Press
* Film screening of Bill Boll's "Built for Speed" about the infamous Coral Court Motor Inn
* Dream interpretation from the Dream Seekers
* Face painting by Impish Grin
* Mad Science superball making
* Belly dancing
* Pre-party festivities at Saint Louis Cellars start at 5 p.m.
* Activities from Southwest to Sutton to Big Bend
* The Don't Dream It . . . Be It costume contest featuring several categories, fabulous contestants and celebrity judges.
