David Schild's Being Content with Uncertainty is an exhibition that is highly inflected by the experience of life in New York, a city that has been the artist's home for the past thirteen years. The point of similarity between the thinking of Aristotle and the work of Schild derives not from judgments of aesthetic form and their values, but in the effort made by both men to comprehend their surroundings.
