“Year One” is a retrospective of artist Naomi Silver’s first year as an artist. Silver decided to take a stab at painting after having interviewed numerous St. Louis artists for her web site, CultureSurfer.com. Her unique style is attained through the spontaneous application of acrylic and tempera paint with her fingers. This unorthodox technique enables her to create a variety of textures and energetic, fluid designs. Her work has been described as “delicious and interesting -- they bring a state of extreme peace..."
