Botanical Interpretations by Eric R. Nichols and Sarah Carmody
Opening Reception: May 29, 6-10PM
The Spektrem show features botanically inspired mixed media works by Eric Nichols and photographs by Sarah Carmody.
Spektrem represents Eric’s new work using objects and techniques that show a visual balance between the masculine and feminine. Each piece becomes a complex problem involving layering of both two-dimensional and three-dimensional actual and implied form, shape and line.
Sarah’s Spektrem photographs are an exploration of color and depth with digitally captured and enhanced botanical subject matter.
Also open May 30, 2-8PM for the Taste of Maplewood featuring music, food and retail specials from local businesses.
