William Shearburn and David Deatherage are pleased to announce the opening of Circa: St. Louis' premiere Art & Vintage Modern Design Gallery. This unique venture blends fine art with vintage modern furnishings to create a design gestalt for the home. The new gallery is located at 4733 McPherson in the historic Central West End neighborhood of St. Louis.
For the last decade, David has been a valuable design source for clientele such as Courtney Cox, Kate Spade, Ross Bleckner, Annie Leibovitz, Jonathan Adler and Nate Berkus. David's work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, House and Garden and In Style. David is pleased to bring his design expertise to a more public venue.
For the past two decades, William Shearburn has owned and operated William Shearburn Gallery in St. Louis and more recently, a second gallery in Santa Fe. Shearburn Gallery continues to bring renowned contemporary art to St. Louis and is very excited to have Circa as it's new neighbor.
The new gallery will feature furniture by designers such as George Nakashima, Paul Frankl, Edward Wormley, Florence Knoll, Milo Baughman and Charles Eames.
Please join us for our opening celebration on May 15th with a reception from 6-9 p.m. If you are unable to attend, please visit us during our regular store hours of Wednesday - Saturday 11-6, Sunday 11-2 and by appointment.
