Gallery at the Regional Arts Commission: Friday, 23 May 2008
Kick off Memorial Day weekend at the opening reception for
HABITAT: William Morris, Thomas Sleet, Seitu James Smith
Friday, May 23 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Gallery at the Regional Arts Commission (RAC)
How do you feel about your surroundings? Do you live in a studio apartment or a mansion? Are you comfortable in your own skin? These are all questions about your habitat: environments as large as the world we live in and as small as microscopic cells, as tangible as your own home and as elusive as social and cultural forces. The three artists address the complex issue through sculpture, drawing and video installations.
The exhibition runs through June 29, 2008.
