MEDITATIONS
Please join us as we open a solo exhibition for nationally recognized artist Mary Joan Waid on Friday, November 30. There will be a reception for the artist from 6 to 8pm and she will present a short artist talk about the work in this exhibition at 6:30pm. "Meditations" is an extensive show of pastels and oil paintings. Waid is one of the most esteemed still-life artists working today, and her pristine and evocative pieces are actively collected by private patrons and museums. She has been working in New York for the past thirty years, and is included in numerous exhibitions and publications. Her current work presents a richness of detail and often a deep palette giving an air of quiet elegance to her common everyday subjects. The exhibition will continue through January 13.

Also, presented in Gallery III is a Holiday Group Show featuring paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography, fiber works and artist books.

Regular hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10-6, Sunday 12-4, and by appointment.
