Two New Group Exhibits Opening at Framations focus on the significance of friendship and family

Beginning October 16, Framations Art Gallery will feature two new group exhibits; one will feature a group of eight artists that have had a recurring exhibit at Framations, the other is a group of artists who are siblings and showing together as a group for the first time.  Both exhibits will begin with an Opening Reception on Friday, October 16 from 6-8pm and will continue through November 19.

The upcoming exhibit in the Main Gallery focuses on a group of female artists called the Circle of Eight. They are a group of eight artists, brought together by Natalie Fleming, when she moved to St. Charles, MO.  The Circle of Eight consists of Diana Saffo Bono, Virginia Dragschutz, Jessica Dreyer, Ethel M. Ferrett, Natalie Fleming, Crystal Goldkamp, Annette McGarrahan, and Nancy M. Young. The primary focus of their work includes paintings in watercolor and acrylic, photography, mosaics, and mixed media. This will be their fourth group exhibit at Framations.

In Gallery Two during this time will be Sibling Revelry, an exhibit of work by four siblings exhibiting together for the first time. This exhibit will feature the work of four siblings: Paul Kiefer, David Kiefer, Stephan Kiefer, and Serena Kiefer Boschert. Their mediums include woodworking, painting, photography and ceramics respectively.

Each of these group exhibits will be on display October 16 - November 19. The Opening Reception on October 16 is free and open to the public.  More information about both exhibits can be found at www.framations.com.
