ART ST. LOUIS XXIX, THE EXHIBITION

Free opening reception Saturday, November 16 from 6-9 p.m.

This new exhibit began on October 26 and remains on view through December 26, 2013. The Gallery is free & open to the public. Gallery & café hours are Monday 7 a.m.-4 p.m., Tuesday through Friday 7 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Closed Sundays & holidays.

"Art St. Louis XXIX, The Exhibition" is our major annual non-thematic, all media, all styles, all techniques exhibition. This year's 29th annual exhibit features 50 artworks by 43 St. Louis regional artists from Missouri & Illinois. For this year's exhibition, 133 St. Louis regional artists from Missouri, Illinois and Indiana submitted 583 artworks in nearly all media for Juror Buzz Spector's consideration. From those entries, Mr. Spector selected 50 works by 43 artists for the exhibit.

Join us in the Gallery on the following Saturdays when we host free one-hour Artist Gallery Talks* from 11 a.m.-12 noon with some of the featured artists in "Art St. Louis XXIX, The Exhibition." Guests can enjoy complimentary coffee tastings from Mississippi Mud Coffee Roasters while learning about the artists and their artworks.

This will be a casual, conversational event as the two artists discuss their works on exhibit in the Gallery. Please feel free to ask questions. Some artists may also present a brief demo of their techniques or bring samples of their other work.
