Studio Altius extends an invitation to the public for the 5th annual SEEN photography exhibition. Every December, lovers of photography come to Studio Altius to view a collection of the best photography created in that year from St. Louis area photographers. This show celebrates photographers, professional and amateur, across all genres. It is the culmination of a contest to find the best of the best in St. Louis. We want to see what our best photographers have SEEN! The finalist images have been selected by a blind jury and will be displayed in the SEEN 2011 show at Studio Altius throughout the month of December and part of January. Top finalists in each of the 16 categories will receive hundreds of dollars in prizes from our sponsors. Additionally, a coffee table style photo-book has been made showing off the finalists, plus several other standout images. This book will be available to purchase during the run of the show. Awards will be announced during the Opening Night Gala on Saturday, December 3, 2011. Parking for the event is available in the PNC Bank lot next door as well as on Folk Avenue.
