Los Caminos: Saturday, 3 December 2011
Please join us on Saturday, December 3rd at 6pm for a "PechaKucha" inspired event at Los Caminos. If you are unfamiliar with PechaKucha it is a short presentation format that originally began in Tokyo as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. Los Caminos has selected a group of regional artists to creatively interpret this format in order to discuss their artistic practices.
The event will coincide with the closing of our current exhibition "Romantic Notions," curated by Cecilia Vargas, and will include artist Helen Maurene Cooper (Chicago), who is featured in the exhibition, along with Madeleine Bailey (Chicago), Jaclyn Jacunski (Chicago), Maggie Ginestra (St. Louis), Mike Stasny (St. Louis), Cameron Fuller (St. Louis), Eileen G’Sell (St. Louis), Amelia Colette Jones (St. Louis), Daniel McGrath (St. Louis), Marcus Miers (Columbia, MO), B.J. Vogt (St. Louis), and Ann-Maree Walker (St. Louis).
