The Aggregate Exhibition Series at the St. Louis Artists' Guild is a group of six exhibitions in which artists, architects, and designers examine our culture of consumption and possible solutions for establishing long-term ecological balance.

An aggregate is a mass or assemblage of particulars, and is the technical term for the loose materials (such as sand or gravel) added to a cementing agent to make concrete. The exhibition series is named Aggregate both to allude to built environments and to remind viewers that change is best achieved through collective action.

Exhibitions in this series:
Running the Numbers by Chris Jordan
Stasis/Adapting by Amanda Pfister
River Road (Solo Gallery): installation by Gwyn Wahlmann
Sustainability and the Built Environment: A group exhibition juried by photographer Chris Jordan
Rhythms of the City (Members Gallery): Members of the Shooters Unlimited, a collective of photographers. Includes: Nancy Bridges, Anna Harris, Jo Rezny McCredie, Marion Noll, Marianne Pepper, Joan Proffer, Naomi Runtz, Barbara Steps, Kay Wood and Barbara Zucker

On Tuesday, November 15th, at 7pm, the St. Louis Artists' Guild will host a panel discussion, moderated by Jean Ponzi (host of Earthworms on KDHX 88.1), further exploring the themes of the exhibition series.
