Reception with artist friday August 19th 6pm - 10pm
Exhibit of oil on canvas and print-based works of Jenna Bauer spanning 2008 to 2011, shown in tandem with hundreds of drawings and prints available for viewing from the artist's flat files temporarily located within the Hoffman LaChance Gallery. Also on view: extensive excerpts from Bauer's sketch books, dating from 1997 to the early 21st century. Works stem from minimalist color abstraction to graphic ink on paper, as well as works influenced by the Hudson River School and Bauer's time spent living in the Hudson Valley of New York State.
