Reflections of the Buddha

A superb selection of some of the greatest Buddhist sculptures and hanging scrolls held in United States collections, representing several major traditions and sites of production from the late 2nd to the 18th centuries, will be on view to the public in the serene and light-filled Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts from September 9, 2011 through March 10, 2012 in the exhibition Reflections of the Buddha.
Friday, September 9, 5:00-9:00 p.m.
- 6:00 p.m. Members of the Buddhist Council of Greater St. Louis share an opening chant.
- 6:30 p.m. Founder and Chair Emily Rauh Pulitzer and Senior Curator FrancescaHerndon-Consagra give opening remarks.
- 5:30-9:00 p.m. A free shuttle runs between the Pulitzer and Contemporary Ar
- Museum St. Louis in Grand Center and the Kemper Art Museum at WashingtonUniversity.
- Admission is FREE. Refreshments will be served.
