Eight years ago the Philip Slein Gallery asked me to curate an exhibition reflecting what I saw as the best work being done by St. Louis artists. This year the gallery asked me to put together a show more national in scope, which reflected my long experience showing abstract art. There are 30 artists included in this show; there are at least 30 more that could be included. Many old friends are here, but also some fresh to the St. Louis experience.”
