(F)utility Kitchen, a new site-specific grow installation by (F)utility Kitchen experiments with making rudimentary tools and methods of cultivation and sustainability for edible vegetation in a confined space. A gravity-drip irrigation system is built from hardware pieces, IKEA furniture, and do-it-yourself irrigation supplies. Grow lights are suspended in canning jars and crudely-built wood shelving contains recycled paper bits, empty hand-made bowls and jars of seed, awaiting their purpose.
