Cameron Fuller & Travis Russell: Saturday The Birds Fell From The Sky

The collaborative work of Cameron Fuller and Travis Russell will be featured in an upcoming exhibition at Good Citizen Gallery titled Saturday The Birds Fell From the Sky. The installation will mirror it's title, creating a whimsical, yet apocalyptic, static cinema for the viewer that can be described as a playful meditation on the ironies of our contemporary state of affairs. Drawing from the artists' mutual interest in history, nostalgia, and the un-explainable, the installation will emphasize the boldness of the graphic mark and print-based media. Both artists enjoy exploring various mediums while playing with a vibrant color palette and plan to take this full-throttle into their upcoming show at Good Citizen Gallery.
Gallery Hours Fri., Sat. Noon-5pm and by appointment. Special open hours during the 2011 SGC International Conference March 16-19.
