Outside the Heart is a repertoire of figurative line drawings and monotypes strongly influenced by artist and colorist Henri Matisse. The figures concentrate on the power and expressive meaning of line. The use of color minimizes the details of the images while creating luminosity. The overall feeling is sensuous and romantic.
