Third Degree East Gallery: Friday. 19 Novenber 2010
November 19. Third Friday. Free and Family-Friendly. A Hot Happening with Cool Entertainment. Cash Bar.
At The Gallery: November 19 - December 14
"First Glass: Glass by Washington University Students." A debut exhibit by glass-inspired students in the Washington University-Third Degree glass program. Our students continue to amaze us. We celebrate them in this show.
"Emile Galle's Riparian Revelries: Alicia LaChance." LaChance reflects on the work of Emile Galle, a French glass artist considered to be one of the major forces in the French Art Nouveau movement. This body of work re-imagines Galle's love of botany and field studies. LaChance creates luminous oil glazed panels that give a nod to Galle's experimental glass processes as well as his love of nature.
Note: Exhibits will be temporarily de-installed Nov. 21 - 29 to make way for the Rock N Roll Craft Show.
