The tote bags are one component of a three part project which also includes each artist introducing a found object into the gallery space, as well as contributing to a publication on the subject of vernacular culture as articulated through "high art". Permanent Collection I will be presented on a table designed by Los Angeles-based designer Bradley William Duncan, with chairs designed by Seattle-based textile artist Aubrey Eiko Walter. This project will take place concurrently with White Flag's current exhibition of paintings by Garth Weiser.

Golden Age is a project space in Chicago, Illinois engaged with an international community of artists, designers, and writers dedicated to sharing ideas through exhibitions, performances and printed matter.
