Art World Association and Plein Air Exhibits open October 9 at Framations

Framations Art Gallery presents a new exhibit by a local non-profit art organization that has promoted artists and their talents for nearly 50 years. The Art World Association was originally formed in 1963 as the South County Arts Associaion. Their membership quickly grew to well over 300 and they celebrate both fine arts and fine crafts. This will be the third exhibit for Art World Association at Framations.

This exhibit will open with a reception on October 9 from 1-4 pm. This reception as well as the exhibit, is free and open to the public. The exhibit will continue through November 7, 2010.

Coinciding with this exhibit, will be works from the 2010 St. Charles Plein Air Competition. More than three dozen artists participated, painting and drawing on site throughout the area. Some of their works will be on display in Gallery Two, also running October 9 - November 7.
