Natalie Fleming and Sharon Hopper capture subtle moments in nature and life
Landscapes and Portraiture by regional artists
Framations Art Gallery is pleased to announce two new exhibits by regional artists Natalie Fleming and Sharon Hopper. These exhibits will open with a reception on June 12 from 1-4 pm. This reception as well as the exhibit, is free and open to the public. As a show of appreciation to their customers, Framations will offer free entries in a drawing for a gift certificate during the reception. The exhibit will continue through July 3, 2010.
In "Love it All - Tradition and Exploration with Natalie Fleming" the artist describes her life's passions through her brush. It is a wonderful occasion to see a true love for nature, from the smallest details in water and rock to the expanse of a mountain range handled with subtle watercolor tones and wonderful knowledge of color.
"Hopper Portrait and Fine Art: Saving Memories one Portrait at a Time" explores the tradition of portraits, both posed and in motion. Hopper's oil portraits and figurative paintings are traditional, simple and straight forward. There are no hidden agendas, deep meaning or abstraction. Whether it is a portrait or fine art piece, the intention is for the presentation to give just enough information so the viewer can create their own dialogue.
