bright | beautiful is a one night art exhibit featuring jewelry by local artists Lisa Colby, Peg Fetter, and Jennifer Walker, and 2D artwork by Amanda Verbeck of Pele Prints and Gina Alvarez. The show will highlight the beauty of simple lines, visual flow, and handcrafted textures.November 20, 2009 • 6-10 p.m. • One night only
Open Door Gallery is a brand new gallery with a simple goal: to display the highest quality original artwork in a welcoming, neighborhood oriented setting. November 20 is a big night for the Maplewood arts - it is the first event for the newly christened "Maplewood Arts District," a collaboration between artists, galleries and performance venues along Sutton and Manchester. In an effort to unite and promote Maplewood as a destination, the Arts District will coordinate opening nights and provide information for the visitor, making it easy to spend a long evening with the Maplewood art scene.
