Duane Reed Gallery: Friday, 11 September 2008
LUISA MESA
September 11 – October 10, 2009
Opening Reception Friday, September 11th from 5-8 pm
In her work, Mesa explores the nature of human consciousness and the relationship of Individuals to the larger picture, through mixed media, such as enamel, acrylic, oil, digital images and resin, among others. The process of repetitive drawing is the essence of the work; the lines in the work are a metaphor for the interconnectedness of all things, and the layers allude to the multidimensionality and different levels of our existence.
Gallery hours: Tuesday through Saturday 10-6pm.
