Third Degree East Gallery: Friday, 21 March 2008

This month, enjoy our Third Friday Open House from 6-10pm this Friday, March 21st.

Wind down from St. Patrick's Day and rev up for Easter. Watch interesting demonstrations in glassblowing and torchworking in the Hotshop. Our Director of Flameworking Libby will be demonstrating torchworking starting at 8 p.m. The rest of the night, watch other glass artists making whatever they feel like! *Note: For the hearing impaired, sign language student interpreters from St. Louis Community College - Florissant Valley will be signing glass demonstrations from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

- From 7-9 p.m Decorate a Glass Egg. Just in time for Easter, we have glass egg tiles that can be decorated and made into funky little magnets or necklaces. Report to the front desk and see what it takes to go from glass ingredients to a piece of kiln-made glass art. Cost is $20. Show up early and assure yourself a spot to participate.

On display at the Third Degree East Gallery from March 21 to April 4:

Neu Work by Doug Auer. Founder Doug Auer will be exhibiting brand neu work that is sure to make an impression.
