Carolyn Plochmann's Gift, a selection of paintings and drawings from the 1940s through 2005. The highly distinguished Carbondale artist gave the work to the Illinois State Museum in 2006, many of which are being shown for the first time.

The Illinois State Museum Southern Illinois Art Gallery is located at the Southern Illinois Art and Artisans Center. We are about 90 miles from St. Louis -- take I-64 east to Mt. Vernon then south on I-57 for 19 miles, exit at #77. We are just west of Exit #77.
