KATIE HOLTEN: PATHS OF DESIRE
The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis presents Irish artist Katie Holten in her first solo museum exhibition in the United States. Paths of Desire is Holten's largest and most ambitious exhibition to date, featuring a large-scale sculptural installation and drawings that explore global ecology and the importance of advocacy at a time of environmental crisis.

SHOOT THE FAMILY
The Contemporary is also proud to welcome Shoot the Family, a traveling exhibition of photography and video works by 15 international artists. Photography is an intimate art, representing an unspoken relationship between artist and subject. This relationship becomes especially interesting--and harrowingly penetrating--when the subject is related to the artist. Shoot the Family explores this dynamic by focusing on artists' portrayals of their own families: photography and video works of relatives and partners.
