Hoffman LaChance Contemporary is proud to announce the opening of the exhibition CLUE: A Photographic Interpretation by Hope Edwards. Twenty One photographs will comprise the show, each based on a different element from the classic whodunit board-game, Clue.

Throughout this suite of photos, there is a pictorial and narrative richness that is lent clarity by Hope Edwards technical savvy and careful cultivation of each of the set-ups. The images are sharp and saturated, stunning and quirky; her work is soaked with realism, imagination and tongue in cheek humor. With sly nods and winks to the viewer, the work refers back to it’s unifying theme and to the history of the medium itself.

Join us for the opening reception with the artist this friday from 6 till 10 in the evening. Good food and drinks provided.
