Laura Lebeda: Divine Nature

I draw and I construct. My intention is to invite viewers to look closer and see the sacred in our everyday lives. Each art piece creates a narrative of exploring and investigating through a use of mark making as the main component.

By creating in two distinctly different art mediums, large charcoal drawings on paper, and mixed media with clay, together a unified body of work is formed. My belief is that each body of work stands on its own, yet together a more in-depth, cohesive narrative emerges and exists.
