Martin Schweig: A Retrospective

Third-generation St. Louis photographer Martin Schweig will show a retrospective of his work in the Bonsack Gallery at John Burroughs School from Thursday, October 6, through Tuesday, January 3. All are invited to an opening reception from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, on October 6.
Schweig retired as director of the Martin Schweig Studio and Gallery in 2002. The studio was founded by his grandfather, Morris Schweig, in 1892, and continued under his father, Martin Schweig Sr. A gallery was added in 1954. Schweig joined the business and continued in the family tradition — documenting the lives of some of St. Louis’ most prominent citizens.
Regular gallery hours are 8 am to 5 pm, weekdays. The exhibit is free to the public.
