Atrium
Gallery opens the fall season with "Dimensional," a group show
of sculpture and other three dimensional works by national
artists. Featured are works by Bruce
Beasley, Claudia DeMonte, Bob Emser, Buckminster Fuller, Jim Nickel, Jane
Schneider, John Schwartzkopf, Randall Shiroma, and Christopher Tanner.
Media include wood, brass, bronze, leather, pewter, copper,
stainless steel, and collaged mixed media. Tactile surfaces and intricate
as well as minimal design components will provide a wide variety of
sensual and intellectual experiences for viewers. Cross relationships
between the works will also deepen the richness of the group
installation.
The exhibition will open Friday, September 25th, with a reception from
6-8 p.m. It will run through November 14th.
