Matt Pierson uses pop art to bring discussion
to the theme of fitness, the choices we make related to fitness and repercussions
of those choices. In American culture we are barraged with information about
creating health and food choices from many different sources. Matt’s paintings encourage
consideration of food choices and the resulting way we feel and look. What is
the length we will go to create aesthetics in physical appearance?
