Gallery at RAC: Friday, 13 June 2014

The Regional Arts Commission presents Squared Off, the painting and mixed media work of thirteen local women.  The artists are printmakers, photographers, painters and collagists who have each accepted the challenge of translating a square canvas into her own artistic vision.  With the intention to expose visitors to this art making format, curator Kay Wood states “The diversity of the show will surprise the viewer.”

Opening reception on Friday, June 13, 5:30 – 7:30pm

Celebrate Again the gallery talk which will take the form of an art sale. Local female artists will provide one hundred more square canvases of work for display and purchase. Thursday, July 10th,  5:30 – 7:30pm.
