TWAIN'S WORLD!  ONE NIGHT ONLY… 4-18-14.com  7 pm
Professional Dress Code Required

This show features over 50 pieces from Smithey's Mark Twain series.

Smithey views himself less as a painter, sculptor or draftsmen or even just an artist for that matter.  He sees himself as a creator, a creator of ideas and tangible things, a creator without the limitations of labels like artist, writer, inventor, etc.

The Mark Twain series is the dissection of the process of creation and is the culmination of years of exploration, evolution and innovation in that process. To Zack, it's more about the journey than the destination. There are an infinite number of ways to get from point A to point B. He is discovering and inventing new pathways to his destination. Instead of creating a series that is dominated by a single style, this series seeks to explore variations in technique while unifying the series with a single subject, Mark Twain. The Mark Twain series is not only a testament to Zack’s inventive spirit, but also pays homage to one of the most celebrated figures in modern literature; who just so happens to be from our own backyard… Hannibal, Missouri.
