Three, Six, Etc. By Louis Brengard
March 28 - April 18
Opening Reception: March 28 from 6-9 pm
Three, Six, Etc. is an attempt to create work that is guided by mathematical constraints placed by the artist, to distance the work from its maker. The processes used transform arbitrary fragments of the world into something more comfortable to view, not unlike the prismatic organization a kaleidoscope provides. This idea to create objective work is driven by feelings of fickleness and various fears that come about when a creator must present their work. There is an intent to relieve the expectations and responsibility attached to creating.
