Jenna Dwyer works in autobiographical multiples meant to be perceived as snapshots--both clumsy and charismatic. These drawings chronicle the range from nonsensical to symbolic; randomly assorted and hung as means to blur the boundaries of that spectrum. Humor and sarcasm are often employed in her works as means of a shield from a darker truth. This body of work spans three months and pulls inspiration from personal past and present symbology.
