The Sound and Vision Exhibition Series is a group of five exhibits exploring how we experience and create environments through our senses of sight and sound.

  • The Austerity Plan by Robert Goetz (Solo Gallery): Prints and multimedia pieces by Robert Goetz, the St. Louis Artists' Guild's Fall 2011 Keyholder Artist in Residence (Printmaking).
  • On Another Note...(Second Floor Galleries): An all-media group exhibition of artwork examining the relationships between visual art, music and sound. Juried by David Ellis.
  • Oh! You Pretty Things—Indie Music and Design: Exploration of the D.I.Y. (do-it-yourself) aesthetic and philosophy in the St. Louis music scene. Features work by Sleepy Kitty, Jason Potter, and Jeremy Kannapell.
  • Sensation (Children's Gallery): Artwork by the students of the Missouri School for Blind and Central Institute for the Deaf. The artwork in this exhibition focuses on the senses (vision, hearing, touch and taste). Curated by VSA Missouri.
Sound and Vision will be on view in the St. Louis Artists' Guild galleries from January 20th, 2012 to March 17th, 2012. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm–4pm.
