"Characters"-The Work of TCA artist Danny Speck

Danny Speck, an artist attending the open studio at Turner Center, will be showing his best work from the past couple years on January 20, 2012 from 5-9 pm. His caricaturesque drawings and paintings portray a wide variety of people and places in a way that brings unexpected details to the fore. His sometimes humorous, sometimes off-putting, sometimes busy, sometimes sparse art is certainly unique. It will be on display at the Turner Center for the Arts in Maplewood from January 20-February 3 with an opening reception on Friday, January 20th.
