Art Saint Louis is proud to present "Beholder," a multi-media juried exhibit featuring original artworks by 361 St. Louis regional artists from Missouri & Illinois. Please join us Saturday, January 22, 2011, from 6-8 p.m. for a free reception.

"Beholder" was juried by Catharine Magel, artist & public art specialist, St. Louis, MO, and Eric Woods, artist, founder/owner, The Firecracker Press, St. Louis, MO. For this exhibit, 67 St. Louis area artists submitted 118 artworks in all styles & media for our juror's consideration. From those entries, Catharine and Eric selected 47 artworks by 36 artists for the show. Works in this show include ceramics, collage, digital media, drawing, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and textiles. MEET THE ARTISTS
During this exhibition, Art Saint Louis is hosting Meet the Artists Saturdays where Gallery visitors can meet some of the featured artists from "Beholder." Artists will be on-hand in the Gallery to greet visitors & discuss their works in the show. These very casual, unstructured Saturdays are free & open to the public.

Presented concurrently with "Beholder" is "Ode," a multi-media exhibition featuring works that echo off/riff on John Keats' poem, "Ode on a Grecian Urn." Curated by artist Mark A.
